I've been looking for a down jacket for a long time but it usually costs between 2 and 300 euros, which is too much for a casual user like me. It was reasonably priced and offered the same coverage as the big brands. Doesn't compress as conveniently as its REI counterpart (which packs into its own pocket). It's not the same as the heavier downs (like those from the north face), but it's perfect for fall hikes, early mornings and late evenings. The interior has a reflective surface that supposedly does just that - reflects your body heat back to you. Inside you will be roasted within a minute. Good on the outside with a mid 50s-60s t-shirt (degrees not age lol). And the surface is quite water resistant. Didn't take a shower but managed to spill my coffee on my sleeve and it immediately spilled into small drips. I also like the thin elastic wrists. You don't see them, but you prevent drafts from getting into the sleeves. The color is excellent. My only improvement would be that the medium size fits well but tapers a little at the shoulders. (I'm athletic 5'10, 160, and the large size I tried was too baggy). This isn't a big problem as the entire jacket is soft and therefore not very noticeable. In addition, the small chest pocket near the middle should really point outwards and not inwards, so that you can access your cell phone, for example, without having to unbutton the front of your jacket and get cold again.
