Great jacket with great technology to keep you warm. I bought this jacket because I'm currently in Denver (Jan-April). On my first day in Denver the weather was -2F. This jacket is very light and surprisingly warm. As I would expect from Columbia clothing, the detailing and fit is top notch. I would have preferred a velcro over an inner knit cuff as the latter can get too hot and sometimes not ventilated. I will not get lost with red.

I bought this down jacket as my first down jacket and received it straight away and fell in love with it. Bought this as part of a hiking plan (I'm light and it fits the bill more than I was hoping for). + Very light + VERY compact + Very warm - not designed for strenuous trips (at least not for me) Overall I went to Columbia Employee Store and it was still $130 so for the price it couldn't have been better. =) couldn't be happier with this product.

This jacket is no joke. I've never worn clothes that were so light and kept me so warm. I carried it all over Europe in the winter and it was an invaluable pass. Waterproof, extremely light and incredible internal technology that makes the jacket truly unique.

Some reviews call it a "down jacket". When I ordered it I wasn't sure if it was down or synthetic. The fill is synthetic, not as compressible as down, but not as susceptible to moisture. I really like the fit of this jacket. I wish I could tell you if it keeps out the cold because I bought it in the summer when the price dropped very low. I will update this review when winter comes. Most people don't realize how cold it is at night in the Arizona desert during winter, and you really need a warm jacket. Now I give 5 stars for the look and fit.

I think it works a bit. Returned for XXL. I think I'll wear this with a shirt underneath so it was too restrictive. I'm 6ft about 230 and the length was a little short and a little tight around my armpits. I wear a size XL in most Colombian clothing, so I guess it runs a bit small. No big deal, the return process was very pleasant. Received a replacement 2 days later. Good service.

WOW. It's hard to put into words how happy I am with this coat! Warm but never too hot. You can put it in your own pocket and keep it there until you need it. It also looks and feels good. Happy Happy Happy !
