Review on Meguiar's M5016 Marine/RV Cleaner Wax - 16 fl oz: One-Step Versatile Formula for Superior Results by Fort Steffen

A polishing machine is required, but the results are good.

My 4 year old Sonic became badly oxidized where it was stored facing the sun. The van mechanic told me not to use the polisher on the fiberglass van; do it manually. He was worried that I would overdo it and ruin everything. I tried it by hand and the oxidation just soaked up the product. Discouraged, I spent some time watching online videos of people polishing their RVs. Based on several videos, I bought a polishing machine and a few wool pads. Wow; no matter. Attached photos are about 15 minutes of work on the front of the device. The roof is not finished yet. The roof then took about an hour of stairs and crawling. You can see the difference. Steps: First I washed the RV. I sprayed a small area lightly; 4x4 feet, with water spray. I loaded the product onto the wool disc and started polishing at a speed of 1000-1500 rpm. I stirred lightly and let the polisher do its job. As the video says; You can feel it when oxidation is reduced. After a few minutes I stop and dry myself with a microfiber towel. I went back and hit all the missed spots. I have no experience with other products so can't tell how this one compares but it seems to work very well.
