Does exactly what it is supposed to
Yes it smelled at first, but only like a new shower curtain liner which is in essence what it is. The smell goes away quickly. It does have wrinkles. They relax after being on the table but not enough. I'll keep an eye on it. Other than that, it's a good looking, heavy duty table protector which is exactly what I wanted.
