I want to start by saying how incredibly beautiful this skirt is. I originally bought a small one that fits, but when the waist belt hugs you the rest bulge unflatteringly. I ordered the medium out of curiosity (because I couldn't live without this skirt) and it's absolutely perfect! If you make sure the waist belt doesn't stretch at all, it will sit nice and comfortably around your waist. That being said, here are some things you should know. Unfortunately, the seam is not exactly the same from one to the next. The little one had a tiny flare at the bottom that made him more handsome. The medium falls much more directly. The color is not exactly gray as they said (that's why I bought it), it's more of a pale Perrivine colour. The fabric is soft and flowy, I love it. For reference, I'm 5 feet 9 inches tall and weigh about 145 pounds. If you usually wear a small dress I would suggest going up a size but then again you may need to alter it until you get the perfect one (worth it).
