It feels very comfortable
The only caveat is that it doesn't COMPLETELY cover the entire chair. It can be pulled and stowed with the seat closed, but as soon as you raise your legs it partially pops out of the underside of the front seat. I think he just needs a little more room in the part that covers the footrest. It also doesn't stay refilled when you get out of the seat, so either refill it constantly or leave it looking a little dirty. But overall it protects the chair, looks good and is fun to sit in, so I bought a second one for my husband's chair.
