The ContiSportContact that came from the factory on my C-Max after 4 years already required replacement. Before buying, I read a bunch of rubber tests, including foreign ones. I decided to take this particular rubber - the winner or prize-winner of all possible tests over the past 2 years (the model appeared only in 2022). There was only one set in stock in the city. 205/55 R16 91H turned out to be made in the Czech Republic, and immediately I was very alerted by the softness of the sidewalls (it feels like the sidewall is pressed under the pressure of a finger like a plastic bag). Installed on alloy wheels and put on the car. Further, two weeks of happiness - comfortable, predictable handling and movement - everything is exactly as good rubber should be (my runs are 95% of a very good track - therefore, the softness of the sidewall was not particularly frightening). During these 2 weeks I completely forgot about the fact that there is a rut. A month has not passed, as at a speed of 80 km / h on an unfamiliar night track, I hit a pothole and got a 1-cm gap in the sidewall area. I stopped about 100 meters. There was no spare wheel in the car from the factory - only a repair kit. Tow truck. Tire fitting. And the verdict: the keel is too big + the sidewall is all chewed up. The tire is beyond repair. The alloy wheel itself is without a single scratch. There is no such rubber available in the city (apparently, it is too new + the peak of the season). We'll have to order from Hong Kong and wait a week. Bottom line: great tires, but not for our roads. It was necessary to take Nokian Hakka Blue - at least it is available. . By the beginning of the second season, I saw that after (perhaps not quite correct) winter storage, 1 tire cracked along the tread grooves. I preferred to buy a new one (already the second one). By the third season (after 30 thousand runs), 2 tires left from the very beginning were worn out almost to the marker.
