All first impressions are favorable. MT tires did not exist before that time. A nuisance while driving, but not a deal breaker. The Niva's transfer case makes greater noise. Everywhere they attempted it, they barely scratched the surface. If you sweep the levers through the muck gently, the car won't even feel it. Very refreshing break from the norm. We've seen footage from the earliest off-roads and while they clearly had issues with this, things are running smoothly here.
