I've had this inverter for 5 months now. I use a fridge freezer in my garage with 4 x 250w solar panels and a large 24v battery in series. This inverter puts out way too much voltage. Initially, it constantly gave out 130V. I wrote to the seller and he sent me instructions on how to lower the voltage. I could only switch it down to 126V AS as it could run at 3000W with a 6000W surge. at 1000 watts it is hardly stable. I put a wattmeter in the output of the inverter. As soon as another load is applied to it, the inverter will switch off and must be reset. I can't even turn on a 100w lightbulb when the wattmeter reads 1000w. I've had too much time to send it back now. I just hope it doesn't burn out my refrigeration and freezer compressors. Ultimately, I would not recommend this inverter. EDIT 7/27/2018 I've had this inverter for 18 months now. It still outputs 126v and I have no problem with the fridge or freezer. Initially I was concerned that high voltage could shorten the life of compressors. However, I now find that it can extend the life of the compressors as the higher voltage helps the compressor start more easily and thus takes some of the load off. Still to be seen. I just upgraded my rating to 3 stars. I would give it 4 stars but 126v is higher than what this product is supposed to produce and it does NOT put out 3000w. EDIT 6/10/2019 I have been using this inverter for over 2 years now. Still runs but still outputs 126 volts My refrigerators are still working fine. In fact, I think the higher voltage makes it easier to start the fridge compressors when recycling.
