12V DC power at 24A is a very complex installation. To get almost 24 amps, you need a power supply that allows you to step up the voltage and current from 12Vdc 17A to 15Vdc 24A. On the other hand, you can do this trick. If you don't have a fancy power supply, try installing the Peltier elements in series instead of parallel. When connected in series, you get less current and less strain on the power supply. Note, however, that the Peltier elements do not work at full power, but do an excellent job of cooling the cooler. The hardest thing about this block is finding an insulated box to match the radiator frame. It is best if you have a computer cooling water cooler and pump and add antifreeze instead of water. I am modifying the cooler to work with a water block to cool the water. My goal is to build a hybrid air cooling system that cools the air with cold water. Can be easily connected to a 10A solar panel with a voltage regulator or a 12VDC 25A motor speed controller, so you don't burn the Peltier cells due to the solar array's idle current.
