Review on Camco Vinyl Insert Inhibitors Extended RV Parts & Accessories by Carlos Phillips

Easy to install interior

The vinyl trim insert was very easy to install on my Thor Class C Outlaw. I had to replace two strips that run from the floor around the cab to the roof about 20 feet on each side. After removing the old vinyl I cleaned the area and then checked all the screws for tightness. I had to leave the last 3 bottom screws loose so I could tuck the vinyl under the pickguard like the originals. Once I had the vinyl plugged in, I applied an inch thick silicone adhesive to the inside of the bottom fold and then re-tightened the three screws. From there I just worked my way up from the bottom, being careful not to stretch the vinyl as I went. A tip: lay the vinyl in the sun about an hour before installation, this will make the job easier. When I got to the top I cut the vinyl with scissors and then sealed it with silicone glue about 2 inches. Ensure none of the caulk on the roof has been damaged by removing the old vinyl, if so reseal if necessary. DIY is available. Many Youtube videos are available.
