I should preface this by saying I've burned well over 5000 discs before, I'm hardly a novice. I tried burning the first two discs with an LG burner, the second two with an ASUS burner. No dice either time. I even checked firmware on both drives, no issues. I've used many different brands of disc, from Optical Quantum, Plexdisc, Verbatim, Memorex, and TDK. I've never seen a solid failure rate like this before.I typically buy very expensive Verbatim DL BD-R's, and was looking to save some money, but I ended up buying more Verbatim because I have yet to experience a failure on roughly 300 DL discs. Same with Plexdisc BD-R's (25gb single layer), not a single failure out of probably 1000 discs.Very disappointed.
