This time last year I bought another more expensive vaporizer and this year it didn't come on. I honestly used distilled water in it, cleaned it every week and so on. The engine did not start this year. I was very disappointed. I tried to pick something inexpensive, simple, and EASY TO CLEAN, and here it is. I love it. That's exactly what I wanted. It is very quiet, easy to use and easy to clean. The light it emits while running is very low. That was important to me. You can choose whether you want to have a night light or not (I am NOT). I would recommend this to anyone who just needs a vaporizer for their bedroom etc.
