Review on G-Technology 500GB G-DRIVE Mobile Pro SSD: Portable Thunderbolt 3 External Storage by Keith Morris

I was hoping that after some negative reviews G-Tech had solved the disconnect problem. I tried this drive and it is really very fast (maybe the fastest in this drive category) but unfortunately I saw one failure after 2 days, then 3 and now several in few hours. I spoke to G-Tech. Support, and while they didn't acknowledge the problem with this product, they recommended replacing it. Now the question is, do I try my luck again or choose Glyph Atom Pro. ".. Factory problem". They also claim that the issue has been fixed in most drive updates. I bought another drive with a different capacity (2TB) directly from their website and had no problems with it.
