If you have any doubts about buying this strainer, buy it, it's good quality. I've been using it for over two years and it still looks the same. The size is just right; It's a little bigger, but it fits all your fruit and veg. Exact dimensions can be found in the product photos. The fruit images in the product images accurately reflect the size of this strainer. It is very convenient to wash or dry vegetables and fruits over the sink. Especially in this time of Covid where people are worried about doing laundry. I also use it when I cook pasta. I pour the contents of the pot into this strainer, which instantly removes all of the water from the pasta. Works great for that too. This will give the wire mesh an idea of how thin it is. Considering it extends 3.5 inches at each rubber grip, it should fit most sinks. Please see the photos I have included, this will give you a better idea of the size and wire used. I don't think it's particularly pretty, but that's not why I bought it. Its usefulness and use make it useful every day. Keep the screen dry when not in use and it will not rust.
