Highly recommended with threaded rods and studs through

I have replaced the bottom wheels on my three screen doors. Earlier discs had badly chipped plastic. Doesn't matter. Now they roll easily. These wheels are difficult to replace, but take your time and use a #1 Phillips screwdriver to pry out the old ones and install the new ones. YouTube is your friend.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Available in black only

An excellent substitute for roles

Exactly what I needed. I just checked the dimensions of my existing casters and they fit with no problems. Great replacement for a broken plastic. Steel wheels with bearings allow the grid to slide along the rails. Attempts to find them in several local stores to no avail. Raven passed!

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • Periodicity

Difficult to install but works well

This video was just what I needed. The only problem I have is removing and replacing the original. The axle on this one is too wide to fit comfortably in the slot in the door and requires little effort to install. Once it worked great. Find a YouTube video to learn how to uninstall and install and be patient.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • poorly thought out

20+ year old sliding door like new!

Had to replace what I believe are the original sliding patio door rollers. I took a photo hoping I matched and measured these rollers as both were badly rusted and had no model numbers on them. I ended up watching a YouTube video that explains how to remove the old ones and install the new ones. Now the door slides smoothly down the path!

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Some imperfections

You can do that! - Fully threaded rods and pins

I just replaced 4 worn and chipped rollers. Here's what I found out. Use a sufficiently large Phillips screwdriver to unscrew the clip. If you don't do this like I did originally, you will have a very difficult time installing these videos. Also, be sure to fully back out the roller adjustment screw before removing and installing a new roller. Don't forget to put it back in. Our screen door is now very easy to roll. Hope this helps someone.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Improved design than the original reels which came with a mesh door

You can't tell from the pictures but it looks like it has bearings in it compared to my original reel with a metal shaft and hole in the middle. metal wheel. The crimped ends on the shaft feel heavier than my original rollers (which failed/worn out on my original unit). I had broken 2 casters (out of 4) and just bought one of these (yes it's a 2 pack) and now the screen door is REALLY smooth. I almost want to replace the other two OEM rollers but it's not necessary but if I do it will…

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

More instructions are needed, but these videos are great!

If you have such a wheel in your sliding door, I wish you luck in getting out the old broken plastic wheels. I was about to grab a sledgehammer when I remembered YouTube existed. I'll spare you the search. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DOcRAbkcAe8 Rollers are infinitely better than the old plastic rollers. The door now actually slides instead of sliding down the path like a pinto ford over cobblestone steps. Even if your plastic casters haven't broke yet, I would recommend making the switch…

Pros
  • High marks for stability and durability from testers
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Castors with steel ball bearings PrimeLine B610

Two castors per package. A typical screen door has a total of four rollers, two on the bottom and two on the top. If you need to replace all four rolls in the screen, you need to buy "2" pieces in the quantity (quantity 2 x 2 rolls per pack = 4 rolls). These heavy-duty rollers are made of steel and roll smoothly. You can feel a small amount of grease (oil) being rubbed into these rollers, and if you shine a flashlight at the small gap between the shaft and the wheel you can see parts of some of
