I needed a small side table to put my turntable on. Apparently it's nearly impossible to find an 18" x 18" nightstand or end table as it was the only one I could find that didn't cost over $60. It took a little help to put it together, but the trick is NOT leaving the screws overnight. At first I just turned them by hand and then worked with the supplied hex wrench until the screws were just tight. I have an Audio Technica turntable that measures 17.80 x 13.86 inches and weighs 22 pounds. The table holds it perfectly, doesn't wobble when opening the lid or inserting a record.
