Eyelet Caps feel comfortable as fiber optic connections are much more prone to debris and debris. The overall quality is excellent, although this didn't solve my problem. For some reason my laptop only streams 2ch audio to my TV via HDMI and doesn't recognize the capabilities of my 5.1 sound system. I tried plugging it directly into the soundbar's ARC input, but the computer didn't even recognize it as a connection, so I finally decided to try the SPDIF connector built into the headphone jack after doing some system research that he exists. Unfortunately, although the cable works perfectly, my computer can only transmit 2-channel audio via the SPDIF output. HDMI seems to be the only option I have, but since the connections are distributed automatically I have no way of connecting 5.1 to the TV, although according to my research it has 5.1 pass-through. In short, a good product.
