Review on πŸ’ Effortless Curls: Kiss Products Instawave Automatic Ceramic Curling Iron 1” KACI01, in Sleek Black & White by Brenda Thompson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Really works on stubborn straight Asian hair!

FINALLY! Something that curls my straight ASIAN HAIR that is LONG (to the bottom of my back). I've tried the following products with no success: (1) Babyliss Pro Miracurl (HARD to use. and the "curls" are more like limp waves) (2) HotTools professional curling iron and many other curling irons - hardly made a dent. hardly a bend. Instructions on YouTube on how to curl your hair and move along the length of the hair like the pros. (3) Flexible wands and full range of not hot curlers - looks ok but messy uneven soft curls that literally fall out after 5 minutes, although I've left the curlers on my hair for 8+ hours and tried them on completely dry hair and dry hair with a damp mist and dry hair with hairspray, etc.). (4) Hot Curlers (Conair) - The hair has such bounce and big beautiful curls with lots of body. They look great and then fall out after 20 minutes even if I stick a pin. URLs after extracting from videos. Nothing worked. Until now! How could I not know that before?!? Heats up in 30 seconds. I leave it on Corn's hair for 30 seconds (even though the curling iron beeps for me to let go, I leave it on a little longer). The curls are even, beautiful, big and elastic with such a large volume and last up to 3 days (I didn't try it longer). This is *AMAZING!* I don't use hairspray (although I probably should use heat protectant). Before Kiss Instawave, literally nothing could curl my hair. I even got a perm many, many years ago and after that my hair was literally barely a wave (and it was a horribly ugly limp wave). I am in heaven. It works with straight, unruly Asian hair! AFTER ALL!
