Review on πŸ”† Onforu 16.4ft Dimmable LED Strip Lights – 6000K Bright Daylight White Tape Light for Under Cabinet, Bedroom, Kitchen by Barry Shaker

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very bright, easy to use thanks to the plug-in connection

I was redoing my pantry and I wanted every shelf to have the same lighting. The overhead light just couldn't cut it, so I used it around the inner door frame. It worked great but I had to buy a 90 degree kit which cost about $6 to get around the door. I also bought a built in motion sensor so the light comes on when the door is opened which costs about $10. The only problem I have is the double sided tape. It's holding up now, but it took a few tries for it to stay that way. 90 degree corners will start to pull the bar off the wall due to its weight even though it is very light. I ended up using the supplied brackets to attach the corners to the wall. The rest of the strip adhered with no problem. Seriously, this is the icing on the cake for the pantry project. I often open my pantry door just to see how amazing these lights look and how great the added motion sensor works. Sensor. I can always add a dimmer but love how bright they are without it. Also, 16 feet is a good distance to get around a standard door frame, which is about 2 inches from the actual frame. So some testing to see where to make your cuts because I found I actually had to remove a small 8 inch section at the beginning of the strip. It was just better suited to fit around the door. The ribbon ends with a 2 strand end that I cut off. Well, and one more thing. I bought these because the "start" end of the strip had a standard termination that connected to the motion sensor I bought. I could have just as easily bought one that had a clip, but I liked the idea that it could just be clipped in. I can recommend them and will buy them again for my next project.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
