My brooms, mops, etc. were in the corner of my laundry room and sometimes fell off and blocked the door. It took some work to reach across the small space to move the handle for the door to open! I should have received this item a long time ago. Now all those things are hanging on that hanger in front of the door and not taking up any extra space at all. Ideal!
