I've had it for a few days. I've used it multiple times for English muffins, waffles, and pop tarts. Almost everything burns down. I also noticed a very strong burning smell when using it, but thought it was just a "new" smell. I noticed tonight that the plastic on the top of the toaster is melting. Of course I threw away all the packaging this morning, so I'll probably just throw it away. I don't really feel safe with that. sigh.
