Not as described

I rely on photos and don't like to receive things that don't match. It has a gentle continuous angle. This means that the wall bracket that the stud goes through is not fully attached to the wall. I attached it and it looks fine, but I suspect the old original design is stronger. Can the manufacturer comment on the design change and assure consumers that durability has not been compromised? I give 2 stars because I don't like getting something that looks different. It was easy to install but the strength at this stage is suspect.
