I was looking for a reversing camera for my new motorhome on wheels. As it came pre-wired and had a mount for the Furrion wireless system I looked into these and they were about 4x the price of this system. I also learned that most, if not all, available wireless systems had frame rate issues and dropping at high speeds, and I wanted to be able to see what was behind my device while driving. I didn't want signal issues so I looked into wired systems. I'm so glad I found this Fookoo Ⅱ HD Backup Camera System Kit. The kit included everything needed for installation, except for a second cable for the tractor that allows you to disconnect the camper at the hitch. My understanding is that if you contact the seller they will send you a second cable for free. I didn't want to wait, so I ordered a second cable when I bought it. The kit includes multiple options for mounting the camera, including all necessary hardware and gaskets. I chose to mount mine on the bottom of the default Furrion mount and it seems to work great. I routed the cable along the black trim of the fairing, drilled small holes in the edge of the fairing, and secured the cable with zip ties. Barely noticeable to the untrained eye. I routed the cable along the bottom frame of the RV to the tongue, using zip ties where necessary. Please note that the camera-to-cable connector is not waterproof and does not have an O-ring. I filled mine with dielectric grease to prevent corrosion issues. I installed a shorter cable on my F-150 starting at the bumper and used zip ties to secure the cable forward to the cockpit and went through the existing rubber grommet. Connecting the supplied monitor cable was a breeze as I was able to unplug the radio, have access to ground and switch the 12v power from the radio cables. I simply connected the radio wiring harness. The monitor comes with multiple mounting options, including all necessary hardware and brackets. I decided to use the suction cup that came with the monitor and attach the monitor to the windshield. I didn't want to drill holes in the dash or use double sided tape. This offered the best viewing angle and reduced the blind spot created by the monitor. As you can see from the attached photos, the monitor has a high resolution and brightness! It's intelligent and remembers what state it was in when you turned off the ignition and returns to that state when you start the engine again. Apologies for the lack of a better picture as the RV is leaning against my garage door and nothing to see at the moment. If I had any complaints it would be that the cable ends on the drawbar/bumper are visible when the motorhome is not plugged in. I found some rubber plugs and filled the ends of the cables with dielectric grease to prevent corrosion problems. I gave 5 stars for everything except ease of installation. It's not as easy as a wired system because the cables have to be installed properly and I had to crawl inside my truck's dashboard. Still easily doable if you have even a little knowledge of tools and vehicle work. Time will tell how reliable this system is and I will update my review when I get some time and miles on the system.
