I bought some old insulators that I wanted to use to make lamps. The insulators were covered with foil accumulated outdoors over decades. I've tried different ways to clean them up but to no avail. I tried the Bartender's Friend (first time I bought it). It worked great. I mixed everything up, let it sit overnight and then erased the film. Some of them didn't work the first time, so I put them back into the solution to repeat the process. (Didn't have to make a new batch. I just put them back in the original mix, although it was dirtier now.)
