That's great. for accessories

Hard to say if I'll end up preferring the Denon 301mk2 which I also own. I am using it installed on a 10G audio device shell on a Pioneer pl518. It might be an overstatement, but it seems to work well with both cartridges. The rest of my gear is the Rogue Pharaoh Integrated and Focal Elektra 1007be. I'm using a Denon SUT and either a Parks Audio Budgie or a Rogue's MC phono stage (haven't really decided yet). Overall, both Denon and Audio Technica are excellent performers, almost complementary. What one has, the other lacks. Suppose one day you wanted a punchy and lively sound with lots of upper bass and pronounced mids. I use Denon for that. After a while I wanted a little more clarity and a more comfortable, relaxed sound. Time at 33ev. Keep in mind that there are so many variables in terms of weapon tuning, ammo load, etc. I've experimented a lot, but overall the differences are about the same. Having listened to Denon for a long time, I'm starting to miss the wide soundstage, depth and detail of the top end. Mind you, the bass in my system isn't amazing. It's like my Beyer headphones, the bass is there but not in the face. However, the bass is very fast and articulate. As others have noted, surface noise is extremely low and tracking is fantastic. The Pioneer 518 also has no internal groove distortion! I confess I also bought it for its sexy looks if you find such an opportunity in the cartridge. I don't think you will regret buying it if you have a good fitting gear. Enjoy!
