This sharpening system is very easy to use and allows you to quickly sharpen knives. I had one of these sets many years ago and loved it. I used it until the stones wore out. I bought this with a clip stand and I love it. I attach the stand to the edge of my workbench and leave. Sharpened all my knives razor sharp in about 30 minutes. Advantages: 1. Easy to use and configure.2. Good consistent benefit I could never get for free.3. Multiple grades of stones for polishing and fine sharpening.4. Angled stones for serrated knives. Cons: 1. Only for knives, you can't use this for other cutting tools like scissors or axes.2. A learning curve to get the clip to hold the blade securely.
