This toothbrush is great! First time using it without toothpaste and honestly was a little annoyed as it smelled like my mouth during my yearly cleaning. This means it really penetrated every part of my teeth and obviously found what my other toothbrush missed. I have used a sonic toothbrush and have found that it actually does a terrible job of cleaning my teeth. I've only been using this product for a while and I can really tell the difference in the cleanliness of my mouth. I still use toothpaste today as I prefer my mouth minty or in the case of other toothpastes fresh grapefruit. I just rinse my mouth thoroughly and clean it after each use. The bristles are incredibly soft and much softer than my other toothbrushes. Great for sensitive teeth and gums, slips between teeth like tiny dental floss. It is very light and the handle has a curve that allows you to reach every point in your mouth. It's an expensive item compared to other toothbrushes, but it does such a good job that it's worth the cost, even if changed every three months, as some dentists recommend. I change every 6 months, will have to see how this one holds up at the 3 month mark.
