Short version: - very strong belt clip - comes with a looser insert that locks the mechanism but has another tighter insert that can be swapped out for a very secure fit. - The inner loop doubles as a stand for your phone and a ring to put your finger in for better control of your phone during use. More: I almost didn't buy this clip because the reviews here weren't great, but I'm glad I did. This clip works great and the phone is very durable. The clip has two inserts that provide different levels of tightness. The insert has a looser end. This is probably fine for business use, but is likely to be an issue if you work in industry or frequently bump your phone into objects. If you swap out the inlay for a thicker one, you won't have any problems at all - even if the phone hits objects. The clip will be more difficult to put on and take off on a case with a tighter insert (obviously), but you shouldn't have too much trouble putting it on and taking it off unless you have carpel tunnel or gripping problems.
