I was almost afraid to order them because of some negative comments but I'm so glad I did! They are very well made and incredibly durable. I've moved to a smaller house and storage space is limited, so I had stacks and boxes of stuff that had nowhere to put due to unused space between shelves. I have them in my laundry room and pantry and it's interesting to see. so much space opens up almost effortlessly. I will be ordering another set because they would fit perfectly in my glove and knit hat closet and using them in my study allows me to finally get many tools off my jewelry table. and so far they're where I can grab them without moving. The items I have in it are light, but I put five pounds of car wax and cleaner in one just to test it, and the basket held them light without bending or sagging or screaming in pain, so guess I think they would work well for records. Glasses etc. There is really no installation required as they come pre assembled so just take them out of their plastic bags and tape them in place. One of mine slips out of position fairly easily, but I plan to try wrapping tape or fabric around the ends of the temples in hopes of making it more secure. To sum it up, if this size suits your space (measure before ordering!) and your needs, I recommend it! The possible uses are literally limitless.
