Worked great. on Door Hardware & Locks

I had a steel styrofoam core door to which I fitted a solid brass Earl Diamond peephole (which I also recommend) which requires a 28mm hole. Works great, took about 3 minutes, wish the bit was a little longer. The first steel plate came up easily, but I didn't reach the back. Haven't managed to go the other way and line it up perfectly yet. So I had to take the drill bit out of the bit a bit more than I want to drill through the other side of the door with a small bit. I could then drill a hole from the other side of the door using the small hole as a guide. But made quickly, nice clean cut and nice design. I only wish the shaft was 0.5" longer or could cut through a 2" door. For a cleaner cut, I recommend applying very little pressure and being patient.
