I bought this cutter to make 1/2" x 1/2" dowels on literally 100 feet of pre-cut yellow pine boards. I did two passes instead of trying to squeeze everything at once, which doubled the uptime of the nozzles. The chisel cut smooth and clean from start to finish. Although the packaging allowed the components to slide inside during transport, no parts were lost and the carbide tip was not damaged. Although not what I expected, it arrived in good condition. So I give five stars for what it should be. The lack of long term storage in the original packaging was not an issue as I store loose cutters in Plano style tackle boxes.
