So save yourself some hassle and hassle because if you don't have that particular hub, then this device is NOT smart home compatible. i will return it What's even more frustrating is that these companies don't consider a consumer who, like me, has been a long-time loyal to them. Now I won't buy Kwikset because they only make smart products that require you to have certain other devices in order to work.
