For 3D printing, you may need masking tape to help your filament stick to the printer bed. As a newbie to 3D printing I was looking at a few things and realized I had to grab some tape as I had a sticking problem and Stikk Stikk was the most recommended. I will say that for the most part it helped. On a heated bed, it rises fairly quickly, lasting about three to five prints. Not the best ratio, as much as you might need. I quickly photographed it on the spot and made a cookie cutter print. He did a great job of helping the filament (PLA) stick to the frame and hold it all the way through. This pack of three rolls comes in handy and I hang one on my suitcase for convenience. Being new to this I'm still experimenting with what I like and what works best for me, including developing my own glue. Will it work for color? I don't know, I probably won't be using it for that any time soon. Although disguise might be on the list. The masking tape is just as sticky as any other blue painter's tape. It's wide enough to cover the printer bed, which is why I bought it. Haven't compared it to any other Painter band yet and may update this review in the future. It did what I bought it for and did it very well.
