Review on Bunn 20216 0000 Assembly Stainless Steel Black by Maria Hase

The quality of this funnel basket is good and I can see it will last longer than I will ever need. One note, though, is that this isn't a full basket like Bunn's. intended it. Yes, it absolutely works as is, but I was wondering why the hole was larger than the hole in the standard factory plastic funnel basket. I went to Bunn's website and found that this basket was designed to be used with a funnel tip kit (Bunn part number 01031.0000). It seemed odd that the tip wasn't included with the funnel, but I've found that there are more advanced versions that weed out any residue from the filter paper, so the different tips might be an "upsell" in the industry. I haven't received my funnel tip yet to be 100% sure but I hazard a guess that the reason for this is because the speed of the flow coming out of the funnel has a precision instrument. I can only surmise that with better water flow control and more time to extract the coffee, the result will be stronger. In theory, at least, it's worth finding out for me since I drink a lot of coffee. What's frustrating is that most retailers that sell the funnel tip charge exorbitant shipping costs for a $2 piece that weighs less than an ounce. These aren't seller ratings so I'll leave it at that, but FYI I found a top set online for $3.50 with free shipping. .
