Review on 🎨 DURO Stencil-It Oil Board Stencil Set, 6" by Graphic Products: Premium Quality and Versatile Stenciling Tool by Denise Davis

So I used this template set to mark the holes in my squat frame so I could get each side to the same height in seconds with no problems. The stencils are of good quality in my opinion and for the most part they worked well. I just glued them in place, masked the rest of the steel posts so they wouldn't spatter, and sprayed a light mist on the templates. I applied a few light coats just above the stencils to prevent the paint from "bleeding back" on the stencils (giving a "fuzzy" look around the numbers/letters compared to the hard/hard edge of the paint generated around). The good thing is that most emails came out great. The bad news is that firstly the stamping process was not complete on some of the letters so I had to cut out the x-acto letters with a knife to avoid tearing them. Second, some letters and numbers have turned-up edges, creating a gap between the stencil and what you're applying it to. I knew I was going to have trouble with some letters, mostly because they didn't exactly fit the part I marked. As if the stencils were punched from the back and not from the front during production. I couldn't control the ink that got under these particular stencils, so some of the letters looked "washed out". It's not the end of the world and I think it's just 3 letters. I ordered 2 sets of templates and I didn't have this problem with one set. Overall I am satisfied with my purchase. It has served its purpose.
