I bought this charging station when I bought my Xbox a few months after the system was released, probably late 2015 or early 2016. I play almost every day, sometimes for Marathons lasting 8 hours or more. These 2 batteries lasted until July 2018. 1 still works, the second hasn't been charged for more than a few minutes in the last month. I will finally buy 2 batteries to replace at half price (they sell batteries without a charging station). I will keep one battery going as long as possible and have 3 on rotation for as long as possible. I have the same Nyko kit for my Xbox 360 and only had to buy 2 sets of batteries for the life of this system. I still have a second set of 360 batteries that I probably bought sometime in 2012 or so, although admittedly I don't use my 360 very much anymore. These Nyko batteries are tremendous value and have saved me tons of battery money over the years. Who knows what the impact on the electricity bill will be, so I can't say it's a real savings, but it definitely feels like it when you see your friends use a massive pack of $15 AA batteries buy and you know you won't. no reason to worry.
