Needed a garage mount to install an old 32" LCD TV. Most are pretty light these days, but my old flat panel monster weighs 44 pounds. without stand. The mount is well packaged and comes with all the necessary hardware to support a variety of TV sizes and styles, as well as VESA distances. It also includes several 2.5" studs to attach to the studs and a template for locating holes and anchors if needed. They even added an HDMI cable and a pair of Velcro straps to wrap the cables around. (The level that comes with leveling the mount is probably the cheapest IMO add-on and I ended up using my own as the dark blue liquid in the level made it difficult to see the level lines which itself is a lot spread more widely than necessary and left much more room for error). As my TV is much older (14 years old) I was concerned that I would have to go to the store to find the correct screws to attach the brackets to the TV. It turned out that this concern was unfounded. They too were admitted. Unfortunately, the spacing of the bolts behind where I wanted to place the TV was slightly wider than the typical 16" center (17 7/8" in my case), so I screwed a ledger board behind it. . , and then attached the bracket to the circuit board. It took me 1 hour from opening the box to plugging in the TV. About half of this time was spent digging up scraps of wood to cut and prepare the board for the ledger, and looking for additional bolts to hold the board together. I also spent about 10 minutes figuring out how to mount an old Apple TV, a Revain Firestick, and an HDMI switch on the back of the TV. Therefore, it took about 20 minutes to install and start the mount itself. The mount itself is strong and doesn't sag at all. The articulating arms require a lot of tension to pull the TV out or set it at an angle, but not so much that it's difficult - it's more of a comforting movement than anything else. I would say if I had to be finicky about anything it would be that the horizontal level and tilt adjustments are made with screws rather than tightening levers. But since I don't plan on constantly tweaking both, that's about a 1 minute "inconvenience", if that. Both settings are easily accessible with a screwdriver and hex key. If you're looking for an affordable swivel mount that fits your height/weight needs, you can't go wrong with this mount.
