When I was looking for a new carrier for my rats I loved it but wasn't sure about the holes. It was a bit expensive for the money I had at the time but the drunks must not have cared and I was surprised about that lol. I'm absolutely thrilled! I take them often (pictured is my best friend's house and a puppy) and wanted something they could actually have more space and enjoy. The holes were the perfect size and they couldn't escape! It's built very solidly and it's great that it has a hard shell. When my best dog wants to smother her with love, she can look at her without fear of collapsing like a traditional stretcher and let a loving mom dog pet her. The extra space it offers when fully extended is great. So if I want to take them outside or to the park and look away for a minute while they roam free and I have to keep them indoors, I don't feel like they're trapped. The oldest girl, Trixie (grey) had too many squirts and her body is constantly on her side and she doesn't have balance skills so I can't hold her on my shoulders when I'm walking around like the others so that's a great option to move is everywhere and still lets them see all the way (: overall I think it's cute as hell and couldn't be happier! As mentioned in another review, the only downside for me is that the plastic doesn't fully come around the hole hereabouts.
