I bought it because it was advertised as working with all moto mods. It will NOT work with the 5G mod. When this happens, the connection between the mod and the phone becomes weaker, resulting in the 5G mod constantly connecting, disconnecting and reconnecting. . . The loose fit is also unreliable - the mod falls off easily. Edit: The problem with the 5G mod is the antenna. It hits the raised left corner of the back of the case and prevents the mod from fitting completely into the back of the phone. MacGuyver can do this by carefully using a utility knife to snip off some of the raised ridges in the left corner of the back case. Ugly, but it will provide a better fit and prevent the issues described in my original comments.
