I'VE TRYED to get this hardware to work for me but it just doesn't do the job. I have thick shoulder length hair and I ALWAYS need to straighten it with this flat iron. I have to keep turning the knob up because it keeps going down to a lower position. And when I get hot, it gets hot for a while when I start doing small sections of hair, but then I have to wait until it gets hot again to finish the hairstyle. What a waste of money and of course I waited a long time to be able to return it.
