I had good experience with AsRock on X99 with their Extreme4 board, so I thought I would choose AsRock this time too. The only thing that let me down about this board is the RGB software, it's not that good with mediocre lighting effects and isn't connected to anything else in my system than it would be with Asus Aura, I don't regret not having the STRIX board for that to have bought specific reason. Otherwise, as other reviewers have said, this board is a great option. Wi-Fi is good, it has a good set of features, plus a USB Type-C connector (other people were happy with that, I personally don't care, but it's nice) and it has RGB connectors (one type at a time, RGB 5V and standard RGB 12V) and most other amenities. Just be aware that there is no BIOS firmware on this board, I don't need it, but if you get 5th gen Ryzen and don't have a supported previous gen chip to update the BIOS, you are SOL of everything I can say. Luckily, Gigabyte and ASUS B550 boards in this price range have this, so you can just pick one as well. Overall I'm happy with the board and glad I used it to power my new ITX system. Gen4 support is great, and the two M.2 connectors that this board comes with allowed me to run M.2 for booting and an optional Samsung M.2 1TB NVMe for storing games. The only complaint I have is that the right-angle SATA ports aren't very accessible in my case, but this could be compensated for with better planning on my part.
