Review on Premium Kaytee Clean & Cozy White Small Animal Bedding: Comfort and Hygiene Combined by Stephanie Hughes

I usually like these bedding. This is usually a soft, fluffy press pack. Just shake it up with your hands and it turns into a cloud! The last order we received was so rude prickly. rudeness. Literally cut paper. It reminds me of the things they sell at the dollar store to put in Easter baskets or gift bags. One of my rats is hairless so there can't be anything in her cage to cut or scratch her. I can't put this bedding in her cage because she will definitely cut it to shreds on the sharp edges of the hard strips. The photos I posted show the last remnants of old fluffy bedding from our previous bag. Then my daughter holds a handful at a time for comparison. On the left side of the photo (in her right hand) is the new bedding we received today and on the right side of the photo (in her left hand) is the old fluffy bedding. It's clearly not the same. The bags were the same. Everything down to UPC codes, but the difference in quality and texture is huge. I requested a refund but still felt I should issue a warning. I'll buy this personally at the pet store from now on.
