Male, size 34. I bought the small one and it works. In the stretched state it is enough for me to thread the first loop on the pants. Doesn't feel like the greatest but for the price it's great. The only thing is the tip of the strap to insert because this leather/faux leather tip is a bit thick. This makes it a bit difficult to thread it through the loops. But overall it looks great.
