I would like to start by saying that I have collected many Razer products over the years and this headset is beautiful, well made and very comfortable to wear . Nice low profile unlike regular Razer gaming headsets. The presentation was as entertaining as ever as I never tire of discovering a new Razer product. This is Razer's first attempt at a non-USB, non-gaming headset and I think they did a good job. I've noticed people saying they're having connection issues. The same has been said about the Razer wireless headphones, which I also own. I can say that they connected to my iphone 10 immediately and without any problems, the same thing happened with the headphones. Just charge them for a few minutes first because they were empty. The next important point I want to draw your attention to is volume. I agree that while they are quieter than regular headphones, that's only at medium volume. At maximum volume level, it reaches quite high volumes for my taste. A good way to put it is that some headsets are loud and maxed out at medium settings, they're about to explode for being too loud if they have just enough volume at mid and good volume at max. As for the bass. People say they're floored. I would disagree as they have a good bass punch that complements beautifully crisp mids well without being overwhelming. Now if you're looking for headphones whose bass is low enough to cause a concussion, you might want to try something else. Bottom line, they have a good hit with great averages. Noise canceling also works perfectly. It doesn't silence the world around you, but it does help in their efforts. With the music on, you still don't hear the world around you, but the noise-cancellation still works well. I've risked it by reading a lot and watching a lot of videos, but I'm not disappointed, to say the least. You are everything I hoped for. I'd like to see them in the $160 range, but we're talking Razer and living as a longtime Razer fan isn't a cheap lifestyle. If you're also a Razer fan who, like me, wants to keep the relevant Razer aesthetic and are looking for a headset that's good for listening to music, gaming or whatever, I say take the plunge. You get what you pay for in this world, so no need to save now. PS As for the app, just download it and leave it on THX. The rest of the modes are useless. Razer never knew how to make apps!
