MULTIFARIOUS TERMINALS – All application kits include AWG12-10, 16-14, 22-16 butt, ring, fork, male and female quick disconnects connectors. Different Color coded tubing with wire gauge imprint provides easy identification. Low quality. Best in Wiring and Connection

I have rewired several vehicles and never have so many connectors failed the pull test. I use a ratchet that won't release the connector until it's properly crimped. Although more than half of these connectors would separate immediately after crimping. I ended up cutting them all off and replacing them as I don't think they won't fail with so many not crimped properly.

Clamp pull test failed

So I happily crimped my wires to these connectors. All passed the pull test, life was good. But then I got to the Classic Blue Female Spade Terminal for 14-16 AWG wire. Everything looked fine until I tried the old pull test. You see, every crimp made with a crimping tool needs to be checked by pulling the wire at least a little to make sure they're secure, and you do this before you shrink the adhesive-coated shrink wrap. Helpful but not confidence inspiring. Very thin metal is used. BUY ANOTHER SET!
