This long grain basmati rice is tasty and easy to prepare. There are no cooking instructions on the packaging, which I think the company should add. First I washed the rice with a sieve so as not to lose all the grains in the husk. For one cup of dried rice, I added two and a half cups of water, which is a little more water than most recommendations. However, I find that I need to add more water due to my altitude. I use a rice cooker which is pretty much foolproof. When the rice is done, it turns off automatically, so I can't tell you exactly how long to cook it on the stove. The rice came out fine, the long grains came off easily. Looks great and tastes great.
