I am satisfied, the purchase is quite successful.

Poor performance; the Yeelight app is no better. Mi Home has sluggish responses overall, doesn't let you set the default white light, and occasionally disconnects entirely from the app. Yeelight keeps trying to go to the app, then back, and the login button is stuck both times. The tape has limited and silly functionality with Mi Home or the Home Kit, however there are issues including the possibility that Mi Home could prohibit access. Resetting the tape and connecting it via the Home Kit will typically result in the controller showing a yellow LED, as though the tape were not connected. After setting up AppleTV as a hub in the home, the automation features of AppleKit proved to be just what was needed to get the job done with the tape. Without a hub, the tape is managed wirelessly; however, the software eventually stops communicating with it. The home hub ensures that the accessory is always connected, so Wi-Fi and LTE connections are not an issue. Since I don't have a public IP address, I'm at a loss to explain how the iPhone stays in communication with AppleTV through the mobile network.

Pros
  • High-quality rubber diodes were used throughout the entire tape, so you can twist it whatever you please and it won't break. Miniature power supply and control unit. Extensive and adequately illuminated cable Awesome deal Home Kit is compatible with smart home technology, but it really shines when paired with an Apple TV or HomePod.
Cons
  • Yeelight and the Mi Home app It's frustrating to use AppleKit since one tape is always disconnected while the other is either wanting or not wanting to connect.
