This umbrella was easy to install and it feels sturdy. It is good looking too! I bought this umbrella to provide shade for my plants for the hottest days of summer, so time will tell how well it performs. The instruction manual was easy enough to follow.I did not purchase the base as it is quite expensive and takes up a lot of space. I saw on another review that someone successfully used paver stones to weigh the base down, so that's what I did.Overall, given the price and the quality, I think this umbrella offers great value and functionality.
