In typical Amazon fashion, we're asked several times to review something we've received but in many cases haven't had time to use it. In this case I glued the clips but the quality depends on how they hold up to UV rays. This is not soft PVC plastic but harder plastic handle and parts. Experience has shown that hard plastic degrades faster in the elements. This is just an estimate, how much can I be exposed to UV rays per week? Installation on a tarpaulin is a problem. You first insert a tarp between two prongs and then lock it with another piece of plastic that slides down. Since the sliding part is in the same place as the tines, you cannot slide the tarpaulin as far between the tines as you like. Good news for me, the tarp has a hem so it should be fine. They might work well on draped fabric or smooth fabric without a border, but I suspect the plastic is too stiff for a good grip.
